Welcome to our November newsletter, packed full of exciting news and developments! We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for an international product design award in 2014 and you’ll find all the details in this update. Getting into the festive spirit, we’re running our first Christmas competition from our latest fabric collection and we’re very excited to have products at forthcoming industry events such as Sleep. We hope to see you there!
We’ve collaborated with the internationally acclaimed Summit Furniture, who will be exhibiting at the inaugural Sleep event for the first time, 20th - 21st November at the Business Design Centre. We’re delighted to have our latest Extex fabrics presented in an edited collection and hope to see you come by Stand H15 to see them insitu, upholstering the stunning Summit seating range.
The sell out METS Superyacht Pavillion has attracted over 230 new exhibitors and our distributor in the Netherlands; Vyva Fabrics will be showcasing our fabrics on a global platform to those looking to source the very best marine products. Michael Rijnbeek of Vyva Fabrics has been encouraging about the forthcoming event and our recent pioneering Solar fabric;
Vyva Fabrics presented at Hiswa the Water Boatshow last September. This outdoor boatshow was very successful and it was beautiful weather. We really needed this nice weather because this triggers people to buy boats again. We did an extra advertisement for Extex Solar and people were amazed when we showed them the fabric, (in a dark corner). Vyva Fabrics will present Extex at Mets on 19th - 21st November. Mets is an equipment trade show where buyers and builders from all over the world come and take a look at new boating materials and new trend fabrics.”

We’re excited to be part of the largest marine trade event and wow those who haven’t already seen the luminescent Solar!
Introducing our new US distribution partner, Browning & Chandler who presented our fabrics for the first time at FLIBS in the yachting capital, Fort Lauderdale, via Canvas Designers, in a move to meet market demand.

This appointment represents a significant addition to Extex’s rapidly expanding distribution network that now includes: France, Monaco, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
Extex received the fabulous news just recently that we have been shortlisted for an international award! Our new Solar collection has made it into the fabric category of the International Product Design Awards 2014. Solar’s printing ink is a pioneering photo luminescent pigment that features a new type of long after-glow. With a super strong capability, the pigment absorbs solar energy, stores and automatically glows in the dark for several hours after just 5-30 minutes exposure to lights on deck or natural sunlight.  Solar is the first Extex fabric to use a new and advanced permanent water, soil and stain repellency treatment applied after printing.
