Daycare - MOOi!

Het Beertje is a small scale daycare where the caregivers truly know every child. This warm and personal approach is beautifully reflected in this project by MOOi! by John van Neer. Playful spaces with high wooden ceilings and large windows bring nature indoors, while each group overlooks a naturally landscaped discovery garden.

In August 1999, John van Neer began designing furniture for private clients. When he was asked to create a piece of furniture for a local daycare centre, he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship. Working from his garage at home, he developed a unique furniture collection for children in his own distinctive style, with quality and design at its core. It was the beginning of what would become MOOi!.

 

Today, almost the entire family is involved in the company. Together with a skilled team, they have grown into a leading specialist, creating successful interior concepts for childcare environments.

Every day, furniture in daycare centres is subjected to intensive use. That is why choosing the right upholstery materials is just as important as the design itself.
