M/Y Kensho - Azure Yacht Design

The Kensho yacht, a 75-meter luxury superyacht built by Admiral Yachts in 2022, epitomizes luxury and sophistication, with an interior design that fully reflects the vision of Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture. This prestigious design studio has created an unparalleled luxury sailing experience with meticulous precision and a keen eye for detail.

The interior of M/Y Kensho redefines luxury at sea, featuring 8 opulent cabins that comfortably accommodate 16 guests, as well as space for a crew of 20.

Exterior design by Azure

In close collaboration with the Owner and archineers.berlin, Azure Yacht Design developed the exterior design of Kenshō. Azure Yacht Design and archineers.berlin redefined what used to be called impossible, fusing aesthetics and technical feasibility. Together they designed an exciting exterior schema that pushes at the edges. The elegant and soft exterior lines embrace all the purest forms of functionality. No exterior item has been compromised to make room for the technical outfitting of the yacht. Her unparalleled organic shapes seem to come from an unexplored underwater world.

Sunbrella outdoor fabric

Sunbrella fabric is a top-tier textile known for its exceptional durability and weather resistance. Designed to endure harsh sunlight, rain, and other environmental factors, Sunbrella is ideal for outdoor furniture, marine upholstery, and more. Its solution-dyed acrylic fibers resist UV rays, mold, and mildew, ensuring vibrant colors that won't fade over time.

Azure Yacht Design

Every individual yacht is based on Azure client’s dreams and wishes and therefore truly unique. The process from dream to reality becomes a great journey that Azure shares with the client. It starts with a blank piece of paper which gradually evolves into the client’s dream yacht. The definition of the desired experience on board is the first step in the process. Sketches of the lay-out and the exterior character follow step-by-step, while the yacht reveals her most recognizable features. Further into the project, functionality, feasibility and aesthetics join and the yacht truly begins to live. The hand-drawn sketches turn into photorealistic impressions and scale models, to view the design from every angle. 

 

Parallel to developing the design with the client Azure can be involved in preparing the project for construction. Throughout the build process Azure can represent the client’s interests, not only in terms of design, but also overall build supervision.
